Official : ROPS Announce Signing Of Michael Ibiyomi

With a statement on their official website, Finnish top division club Rovaniemen Palloseura have announced that they have secured the signature of striker Michael Ibiyomi from a Nigerian academy.
The 21 - year - old has put pen to paper on a one - year contract with RoPS, with the club retaining the option of extending the agreement for two more seasons on expiration.
“Ibiyomi has divided the club’s fans opinions. Many have found in him a lot of flaws, but he is still completely an untrained player.
“He does not have any of Diego Costa, but his output at speed situations are excellent and he is very tenacious player, ” ROPS manager Juha Malinen told the club’s website.
Michael Ibiyomi joins one of the top defenders in the Veikkausliiga, Faith Friday Obilor, at the Keskuskenttä.
He has not been handed a jersey number yet.
