Edward Ofere Thanks Inverness CT Teammate Graeme Shinnie For Debut Goal
Published: March 02, 2015
Inverness Caledonian Thistle new signing Edward Ofere has refused to take the credit alone for his debut goal against Motherwell in the SPL last weekend.
The former Malmo hero has thanked teammate Graeme Shinnie for providing the assist that led to his goal in the 76th minute.
“I felt great scoring on my debut. It was a fantastic cross from Shinnie , lovely finish with the head,” Edward Ofere said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“The game generally was quite physical, the pitch was heavy compared to Swedish football.
“I give thanks to God for making it happen.”
Edward Ofere started and completed Saturday’s game at Fir Park.
