John Owoeri Begs Fifa To Temper Justice With Mercy, Has No Means To Pay Ismaily $150,000

åtvidabergs FF striker John Owoeri is shocked by Fifa’s decision instructing him to pay $150,000 damages to Ismaily for terminating his contract without just cause three years ago.
His present Swedish club has decided not to appeal the ruling because it doesn’t make economic sense as it would cost them a minimum of $115,000 to do so.
“I do not understand how it can take a decision like this. The decision is very wrong. It’s not fair, ”Owoeri said to SportExpressen.se.
“It’s crazy. I had the right to terminate my contract because they did not pay me. If they do not pay, I have to terminate the contract.
“I can not pay that much money. Atvidaberg can not pay so much money. So we try to talk to them to reduce the fine.”
John Owoeri arrived the Kopparvallen from Warri Wolves back in 2013. His contract with AFF expires this term.
