Obafemi Martins Wins AT&T Goal of the Week Award

Ex Nigeria international Obafemi Martins has won the AT&T Goal of the Week award for the seventh round of matches in the MLS, the official website of the MLS is reporting.
The Seattle Sounders star won the accolade for his strike in the 3 - 1 win against Colorado Rapids last weekend.
Obafemi Martins received 64.18 percent of the votes beating Sebastian Giovinco of Toronto FC to second place (14.11%).
Columbus Crew’s Federico Higuain (11.81 %) and Lamar Neagle (6.62 %) finished third and fourth respectively, ahead of New York City’s Mehdi Ballouch, who received 3.28 % of the votes.
Martins won the most Goal of the Week awards in Major League Soccer last season.
