Why We Fired Blank In Jigawa - Osho
Published: May 17, 2015
Supreme Court FC Technical Adviser Fatai Osho has attributed his side loss to Jigawa Golden Stars to inability of his players to convert glaring chances which severally came their way in Hadeija pitch during week one of the Nigeria National League, NNL at the weekend.
Osho who spoke shortly after the encounter which actually witnessed Apex Boys as Supreme Court team are fondly called having more possession than their host before Jigawa Stars rallied round to get the only goal of the match.
According to Coach Osho who was visibly unhappy “I’m say I’m totally disappointed in the game. We made great impact. It’s just that the players couldn’t make the chances that came their way count.
“There is no cause for alarm yet. We are still on cause for the rest of the matches this season. We will go and work on noticeable lapses upfront.
“Actually our players have to step up their game especially in the area of scoring goals to justify the much time we invested before the league eventually started.
“They shouldn’t take any team or match for granted. I’m so much positive that better times are ahead for us.”
Captain Uche Daniel who was equally not himself after the game pledge his teammates readiness to correct any anomaly experienced in their first match of the season.
Back home, Supreme Court fc will confront neighbor Kogi United who could only manage a draw at home against Spotlight fc of Katsina in Lokoja.
United will come calling at Area 3 pitch in Abuja this weekend against Coach Osho-tutored side who would be hoping to redeem their pedigree and garner full three points in front of their Fans on Friday.
