Sidney Sam On The Radar Of VfB Stuttgart
Published: May 18, 2015
As reported by Kicker, Sidney Sam is being linked with a summer move to Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart.
The Germany international was struggling to get game time at Schalke 04 this season even before he was suspended indefinitely by the club for failing to pull his weight.
Sam is looking to severe ties with Schalke 04 sooner rather than later after falling out of favour with the Royal Blues and Stuttgart are prepared to offer him a contract as long as he lowers his wage demands.
The 27 - year - old spent time at Hamburg, FC Kaiserslautern and Bayer Leverkusen before joining Schalke 04 two winters ago.
The Holstein Kiel product is still tied to the Gelsenkirchen based club until 2018.
