ThankGod Ike Hoping To Conclude Talks With Abia Warriors Soon
Published: June 15, 2015
ThankGod Ike’s proposed move to Abia Warriors is still not yet in the bag but the central defender is hoping to finish thrashing out terms with the Umuahia side sometime this week.
The free agent could not feature in last weekend’s clash against Sunshine Stars because the Chairman of Abia Warriors has not yet given the signal to the coaches to sign him.
“I am still waiting for the chairman, I am now in Owerri but I am supposed to return to Umuahia today to resume training and maybe to continue training,” says ThankGod Ike to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“The coach called me this morning to make sure I make evening training. The discussion is not a big deal, we can finish today.”
The former Nigeria international was courted by Abia Warriors before he joined Omani side Fanja SC in the January transfer window.
