Published: July 13, 2015
Khoren Kalashyan , the intermediary that handles the affairs of Sylvester Igboun, has confirmed that his client is on the verge of signing a contract with a Russian club.
Allnigeriasoccer.com broke the news that the Midtjylland striker was in advanced talks with an unnamed Russian Premier League team.
“I can not yet name the club, which Igboun will go to, as it is the prerogative of clubs. I think that today or tomorrow the information about the transfer will be officially confirmed.
“I can assure you that the Nigerian is a very high quality player and he definitely will strengthen this team and bring a headache to many goalkeepers of the Russian Premier League,” Kalashyan told championat.com.
Sylvester Igboun is set to join childhood pal Izunna Uzochukwu, who recently signed for Amkar Perm, in Russia.
