Exclusive : Glasgow Celtic NOT Interested In Signing Kenneth Omeruo For Now

Reports claiming that Chelsea stopper Kenneth Omeruo is on the verge of joining Scottish Premier League champions Glasgow Celtic are wide of the mark.
But the Nigeria international is one of the candidates being considered by The Hoops power brokers if they cut ties with Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk before the close of the transfer window.
“Kenneth Omeruo is a player that is on Celtic’s radar but only likely to join if Virgil van Dijk is sold, ” a Celtic insider told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Virgil van Dijk is likely to remain at Celtic as long as they are in the Champions League.”
The 21 - year - old centre half has a contract with The Blues until June 30, 2018.
