Sylvester Igboun Bids Emotional Farewell To FC Midtjylland

Ex FC Midtjylland striker Sylvester Igboun has bid an emotional farewell to the Danish club , where he was nurtured after joining them from FC Ebedei, a nursery team owned by Churchill Oliseh.
Igboun was quick to express gratitude to the players, coaches, supporters and everyone that contributed to his success at the MCH Arena.
“Nine years is a lot and nine years here in Denmark and in Midtjylland has been great for me,” said Igboun to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“I enjoyed my stay here, FC Midtjylland have helped me to grow as a human and as a football player.
“It is sad that I have to leave now but of course if I don’t leave today i will leave someday.
“FCM will always be in heart and I hope all the people in Midtjylland will understand how much this move means to me.”
Sylvester Igboun is battling to obtain a Russian visa ahead of Ufa’s first game of the new season against Rostov in three days time.
The 24 - year - old has signed a four - year contract with the Russian Premier League side.
