Macauley Chrisantus Plays Coy On Interest From Qatar

Former Nigeria youth international Macauley Chrisantus has reacted to reports linking him with a possible move to the Qatar Stars League in the summer transfer market.
The 24 - year - old says he is focused on doing well at AEK Athens, adding that he is not bothered about transfer speculation linking him with an exit from the Olympiako Stadio Spyros Louis.
“I do not know personally anything to be honest, I do not know and did not personally deal. Right now I am totally focused with AEK and what we can and must achieve with the team,” said Macauley Chrisantus to gazzetta.gr.
“I do not discuss my future at the moment, I live for now and for the time being.
“What will happen tomorrow and in the future I can not know. Right now I am here, and my whole being and my concentration is exclusively for AEK.”
The former Hamburg and Sivasspor forward penned a 1.5+2 year deal with AEK Athens in the January transfer window.
