Finnish club Mikkeli Palloilijat have announced the signing of Nigerian striker Francis Chibuike on loan until the end of the 2015 campaign from top division side KuPS.
The 22 - year - old has made only 5 starts for KuPS in the Veikkausliiga since the start of the season , and the decision makers at the Kuopio - based outfit have decided to loan him out to enhance his chances of first team football.
With 11 rounds to go in the second - tier, Mikkeli Palloilijat are struggling to stay afloat and Francis Chibuike has vowed to score goals to help the club beat the drop.
He told the club“s official website, mikkelinpalloilijat.fi : “ My goal is to make a lot of goals and help the team with their own efforts to maintain their position in the league.”
Last season, Chibuike netted five times in the Veikkausliiga but has failed to hit target after 470 minutes of playing time in 2015.
He represented the academy team of FC Midtjylland before his move to Finland last year.
