Alex Iwobi Trains With Arsenal First Team Ahead West Ham Clash
Published: August 09, 2015
Is Alex Iwobi in line to make his official debut for the first team of Arsenal? That question will be answered in the next few hours when Arsenal tackle fellow Londoners West Ham in the Premier League.
Having trained with the Gunners first team in their final practice session on Saturday, the odds are in his favour that he will at least be named in the 18 - man squad for the first time in the EPL.
On the flip side, Chile star Alexis Sanchez, who missed a great part of pre - season training, has declared himself fit for the tie at The Emirates and may be selected ahead of Alex Iwobi by manager Arsene Wenger.
Only last weekend, Iwobi was named in the roster for the Community Shield clash against Chelsea but failed to come off the bench in what would have been his maiden appearance for Arsenal in the competitive sense.
