Hammarby Monitoring Situation Of Hard - working Midfielder Vincent Onovo
Published: August 19, 2015
Hard- working Nigerian midfielder Vincent Onovo is being linked with a switch to Hammarby in future.
The 19- year - old, who currently displays his wares for Finnish club FC Inter Turku, has been scouted this season by the Allsvenskan side , but they have played down suggestions that a transfer is in the offing especially as the transfer window is closed for business in that part of Scandinavia.
“It is true that there is a player we follow. But we follow , on the other hand, several players over there , as in other leagues , it’s my job,” scout Michael Hjelmberg told fotbolldirekt.se.
“He is a hard-working midfielder, like many African players , he is also physically strong .
“So he is a player we know well , but we have an eye on many players.”
Vincent Onovo’s contract with FC Inter Turku will expire in November 2015, according to the player.
