Official : Finland Champions HJK Helsinki Announce Signing Of Taye Taiwo

Finnish champions HJK Helsinki are delighted to announce the signing of Nigeria international Taye Taiwo, 30.
The free- kick expert was earlier searching for a new club after severing ties with Bursaspor, and was heavily linked with a move to Legia Warsaw in the January transfer window but the deal failed to materialize.
“We are really happy that we got such a player, Taiwo, to The Club, ” HJK Helsinki sporting director, Tuomo Saarnio , told the official website, hjk.fi.
“He has an interesting history and and very few players from top European clubs have played in Finland.”
Taye Taiwo has penned a short - term deal that is designed for two months, but HJK have taken up the option of extending the agreement between the parties by an extra season.
A product of Gabros, the defender previously wore the jerseys of Marseille, Dynamo Kiev, AC Milan, Bursaspor and Queens Park Rangers.
