Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Maltese First Division club Hamrun Spartans have completed the signing of Orji Maduka following a successful trial, which lasted for about one month.
This has ended speculation surrounding the future of the 19 - year - old, with the attacker earlier linked with possible moves to teams in Bosnia, Latvia and Germany.
Both Hamrun Spartans and Orji Maduka have refused to disclose the financial terms and duration of the contract that was signed.
A product of grassroots team Okabuge Football Academy, the teenager has not yet been handed a jersey number but has informed his new employer that he would love to sport the number 45 kit.
It is understood that Orji Maduka was recommended to Hamrun Spartans chiefs by ex Malta international Orosco Anonam, a player and assistant manager at the club.
