Celtic Dilly - Dallying Over Carlton Cole Contract
Published: October 08, 2015
Scottish champions Celtic are still interested in signing Carlton Cole despite the former England international picking up a calf injury during training.
The Scottish Sun says the ex West Ham man will resume training with The Bhoys immediately after the international break but the striker expects the club to make a decision on whether or not he would be offered a deal by next week.
Manager Ronny Deila has set his sights on the free agent market following the departure of Serbian international Stefan Scepovic, who moved to Getafe just before the close of the summer transfer window.
The British newspaper has reported that a number of clubs in England and abroad are monitoring the situation of Carlton Cole.
