Besiktas President Confirms Interest In Signing Obi Mikel In January

Be�ikta� J.K President, Fikret Orman, has confirmed that the Istanbul club are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel in the January transfer window.
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that the Nigeria international turned down the chance to join Besiktas in the summer after they failed to meet his wage demands.
“If the coach Senol Gunes had given us the go ahead we would have moved in the summer , we could still do it in winter, ” Fikret Orman told Fanatik.
John Obi Mikel will enter the last 12 months of his contract with Chelsea in the summer of 2016.
The 28 - year - old is back in London after international duty with the Super Eagles.
