Werder Bremen Star Anthony Ujah Plays Down Stoke City Link
Published: November 15, 2015
Super Eagles striker Anthony Ujah has played down speculations linking him with a shift to Stoke City in the January transfer window.
But the Werder Bremen star is not surprised that his name is being bandied around with rumours linking him with a move to the Britannia Stadium, going by his form in the Bundesliga since the start of the 2015 - 16 season.
“It’s always a dream to play in the Premier League but I am not aware of the interest from Stoke or any other club and my representatives have not communicated such to me,” Anthony Ujah said.
“I take the speculation as a normal thing for a striker when you are having a good season. At the moment I am focused on helping my team to have a good season.”
Ujah has scored 68 goals in total from 154 matches since he moved to Europe in 2010 from local club Warri Wolves.
