Vincent Onovo Targets League Title With HJK Helsinki

New HJK Helsinki signing Vincent Onovo has resumed training with the Finnish powerhouse ahead of the 2016 season.
The 27 - time top - flight champions pulled off a transfer coup in luring the defensive midfielder to the Sonera Stadium, as many teams in Scandinavia were in the running for his signature after it became clear he won’t be extending his contract with Inter Turku.
“I started training with HJK two weeks ago, the first training with my teammates was good. I have not seen Taye Taiwo yet, ” Onovo informed allnigeriasoccer.com.
“Many people expected me to leave the Finnish championship but HJK is a good team and I am happy.
“I remained in Finland because I want to win the league with HJK. ”
Onovo, 20, has 7 goals ( 1 assist) in 47 career appearances in the top division in Finland.
