Michael Babatunde Confirms Watford Passed Up Chance To Sign Him

Free agent Michael Babatunde has confirmed the exclusive news reported by allnigeriasoccer.com that English Premier League side Watford had explored the possibility of signing him prior to his shift to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.
The Hornets higher-ups turned down the opportunity to sign the Nigeria international as he did not fit the profile of the players they were in the market for and advised his minders that the should first try his luck in a less competitive league.
“I was linked to the club (Watford ) because my agent was in talks with team at that time, ” Michael Babatunde told Complete Sports.
“Everything that happens in life is for a reason and in all I give thanks to God.”
Michael Babatunde has claimed to the newspaper that he is weighing up offers from teams based in the United States, Greece plus Turkey.
