Macedonian Club Shkendija Move For Maccabi Tel Aviv Loanee Olanrewaju Kehinde
Published: January 12, 2016
Maccabi Tel Aviv loanee Olanrewaju Kehinde could depart Israel before the close of the winter transfer market.
One.co.il is reporting that Macedonian top - flight team Shkendija have launched an undisclosed bid for the Nigerian, who is currently on loan until the end of this season at Hapoel Kfar Saba.
Hapoel Kfar Saba suits have said that they will not stand in the way of Kehinde joining the Macedonian club but Maccabi Tel Aviv are reluctant to do business as they want the striker to extend his contract but he is refusing.
By his own very high standards, the attacker has been disappointing this season, scoring only once in the Premier League, whereas he found the net on 29 occasions during the 2014 - 15 campaign while on loan at Hapoel Afula.
Former Nigeria U20 international Harmony Ikande has been lined up to replace Olanrewaju Kehinde by Hapoel Kfar Saba should the Yellows sell or loan him out.
