Taye Taiwo Makes Dramatic Return To HJK Helsinki

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Taye Taiwo has made a dramatic return to  HJK Helsinki amid speculations that he could depart the Finnish Veikkausliiga side in the January transfer window after missing the start of pre - season training.

The free-kick expert jetted into the Finnish capital on Sunday and will begin training with his employer as from Monday.

The out - of - favour Nigeria national - teamer had been linked with possible moves to unnamed teams in Turkey and Italy in the winter transfer market which failed to materialize.

Taye Taiwo is in the final twelve months of his contract with HJK Helsinki, with the club activating a clause which was inserted into his earlier contract that permitted them to prolong his stay by an additional season.

He made 11 starts in the league last term, lasting the distance in each of those games.
