Arsenal On Brink Of Announcing The Signing Of Asisat Oshoala
Published: January 27, 2016
Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala has been heavily linked with a transfer to Arsenal Ladies ahead of the new Women’s Super League season.
The Reds are already prepared for the imminent departure of the former Rivers Angels sensation with the capture of Sweden international Emma Lundh from Norwegians Lillestrom.
Liverpool Ladies have announced via their official webpage that they have accepted an undisclosed bid from The Gunners for Oshoala, paving the way for her to discuss personal terms with the Londoners.
The 21-year-old joined Liverpool in January 2016 and scored 3 goals in 9 appearances in the top-flight over the course of last season.
Her contract with the two-time WSL champions would have expired at the end of the 2016 season if club and player had honored the agreement.
