Ex-Lille Star Peter Odemwingie In Advanced Talks With Marseille

Nigeria striker Peter Odemwingie might depart the Premier League after playing nonstop in England in the last six years.
According to various reports in the English and French media, Marseille are exploring the possibility of signing the Stoke City star on loan for the remainder of this season.
Peter Odemwingie has seen his first-team opportunities limited at The Potters this season after recovering from injury and could be used as makeweight in the deal to bring Michy Batshuayi to the Britannia Stadium.
The 34-year-old is in the final six months of his contract with Stoke City though the club have the option to extend the deal for an additional season come June.
A product of Bendel Insurance, Odemwingie starred for Lille for three years before sealing a move to Lokomotiv Moscow in 2007.
