Exclusive : Ahmed Musa Proposed Move To Leicester City Collapses
Published: February 01, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Ahmed Musa’s proposed move to English Premier League table-toppers Leicester City has collapsed beyond repair.
The Foxes made at least four bids for the signature of the CSKA Moscow striker in the January transfer window but the Russian club were unhappy with their valuation of one of the most important players in their ranks.
Southampton’s ten million euros bid for the Super Eagles skipper was waved away by the Muscovites, while Manchester United did not ramp up their interest with an official approach.
The 23-year-old Musa is tied to CSKA Moscow until the summer of 2019, having extended his contract last summer.
He has expressed interest in playing in the English Premier League before hanging up his boots.
