Official : Gbolahan Salami Signs One-Year Contract With Finnish Club KuPS

With a statement published on their official website, Finnish Veikkausliiga outfit Kuopion Palloseura have announced the signing of Super Eagles striker Gbolahan Salami.
The 24-year-old has appended his signature to a one-year contract with KuPS, with the club having the option to extend the agreement for an additional season in December 2016.
Salami, who emerged top scorer in the Nigerian top-flight in 2015, is expected to arrive in Kuopio in the coming days, subject to being granted a visa by the Finnish authorities.
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that teams based in the United Arab Emirates and Tunisia had been mulling over a move for the Fame Academy product in the January transfer window before he agreed terms with KuPS.
The Canaries have also strengthened their defense ahead of the new season with the capture of Nigeria international Azubuike Egwuekwe.
