Published: February 11, 2016
Danish club Akademisk Boldklub have handed a trial to highly-rated Kogi United frontman John Jerome after he was recommended by retired Nigeria international Abdul Sule.
Jerome impressed in 2015 for Kogi United and was voted the second best player in their end of season award ceremony.
“Via video material and Sule’s recommendations we think that John Jerome is exciting,”Peter Rasmussen told the club’s website.
“He is fast and sharp in front of goal . Now he has to work and be so convincing that he is worth betting on , so it will be interesting to see if Sule’s recommendations hold true.”
Abdul Sule, the current Chairman of Kogi United, starred for AB from 2000-2004, and scored 30 goals in 137 appearances for The Academics.
