Official: West Ham Target Dumebi Dumaka Joins Maidstone United

National League South club Maidstone United have completed the signing of highly-coveted striker Dumebi Dumaka from Ryman League Premier Division side Grays Athletic.
The 22-year-old had been courted by a plethora of teams higher up the pyramid, including West Ham, Ipswich Town, Fleetwood and Cambridge United,after plundering goals aplenty for Grays Athletic.
“DD is someone we’ve kept an eye on. He’s a proven goalscorer in Ryman Prem and has it about him to make a mark at National South, ” manager Saunders said.
“You don’t get Premier League and Championship clubs taking an interest for nothing.
“We’ll see how he gets on with us between now and the end of the season and take things from there.”
The Anglo-Nigerian could make his maiden appearance for Maidstone United in their league game with Bishop’s Stortford on Saturday.
