Exclusive : Ukrainian Side Stal Dniprodzerzhynsk On Brink Of Deal For Akeem Latifu

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands Ukrainian Premier League club FC Stal Dniprodzerzhynsk are on the brink of announcing the capture of Super Eagles fullback Akeem Latifu, 26.
Latifu is presently out of contract after bidding farewell to Norwegian Tippeligaen side Aalesund, where he spent two and a half seasons.
Stal Dniprodzerzhynsk have offered the right-back a one-and-a-half-year deal nd the final word has to come from the player and his intermediary, Tony Harris, who are both studying the offer from the club.
According to the statisticians at OPTA, no defender had more successful crosses than Akeem Latifu in the Norwegian top-flight in the last three seasons combined.
The modern day right-back began his career in Europe with Strømsgodset before spells with Hødd and Aalesund.
