Chinese Super League club Beijing Guoan continue to thrash out terms with Gaziantepspor over the signing of John Chibuike, the attacking midfielder has informed allnigeriasoccer.com.
But Gaziantepspor have played hardball during negotiations, with the Turkish Super Lig side demanding a transfer fee in excess of three million euros before they shred their contract with Chibuike.
“It is not clear yet if I’ll join Beijing Guoan, the two clubs are still negotiating,”John Chibuike told allnigeriasoccer.com.
“For now, I don’t know how much they are willing to sell me, I know the Chinese team want to pay 3 million euros but I don’t know how much my team want.”
In 20 outings for Gaziantepspor in the ongoing season, John Chibuike has found the net 5 times ( 3 assists).
The former BK Hacken and Rosenborg star was courted by teams based in Turkey and Saudi Arabia in the summer transfer market.
