Olympiakos Reject 12 Million Euros Bid For Brown Ideye
Published: February 26, 2016
Olympiakos decided not to cash in on Nigeria international Brown Ideye in the winter transfer market.
An unnamed club in China made a bid of 12 million euros for the frontman but it was turned down by the Greek Super League champs, according to Live Sport.
Brown Ideye, 27, joined Olympiakos from West Brom last summer for a fee in the region of €7 million and would have made a profit of €5 million if they had rubber-stamped his departure to the Chinese Super League.
He has accumulated 31.18 million in transfer fees since moving to Europe from local team Ocean Boys.
His progress in Greece is being monitored by a number of clubs in the English Premier League.
