Arsenal Fan Ahmed Musa Vows Never To Sign For Tottenham Hotspur
Published: March 05, 2016
Arsenal fan Ahmed Musa has said, tongue in cheek, that he will never sign for Tottenham Hotspur as he is aware of the rivalry between the two London clubs.
The Nigeria international has been consistently linked with a switch to Spurs, especially when he was on the books of VVV Venlo in Holland, but the White Hart Lane outfit failed to firm up their interest with an official bid.
“I’m a fan of Arsenal! How could I go to the camp of the worst enemies of Arsenal ? But in fact, the main reason is different, ” said Musa to championat.com.
“I was then 19 years old, I have not approached objectively by the level to Tottenham, and I did not want to wander a few years on the loan.
“ I have never regretted that I eventually moved to CSKA. ”
The Super Eagles skipper was linked with the likes of Manchester United, Southampton and Leicester City in the winter transfer market.
