Exclusive: Watford Have NOT Put A £20 Million Price Tag On Chelsea, Manchester United Target Ighalo
Published: March 06, 2016
A representative of Odion Ighalo has reacted to rumours in the local and foreign media that suggested that Manchester United are ahead of Arsenal in the race for the Watford frontman.
It has also been claimed that the Hornets are prepared to cash in on their prized asset if they receive a bid in the region of 20 million pounds from an interested club in the summer but this has been dismissed by his intermediary.
“No idea about the transfer fee at this moment, it is up to Watford to decide, there is no fixed fee, depends on negotiations, ” Ighalo’s rep told allnigeriasoccer.com.
The 26-year-old Ighalo has contractual obligations with Watford until the summer of 2020, having extended his stay at the Vic in September 2015.
He has smashed in 15 goals across all competitions in the ongoing season.
