Barcelona Run The Rule Over Summer Target David Alaba
Published: March 07, 2016
Bayern Munich’s Austria international David Alaba is generating transfer interest from European champions Barcelona.
German daily Bild has reported that Barcelona’s international sporting director Ariedo Braida was at Signal-Iduna-Park on Saturday to watch the wing-back in action against Borussia Dortmund in the German Clasico.
It is not the first time Alaba has been linked with a possible move to a Spanish powerhouse, with Real Madrid tracking his progress for the last two seasons.
The defender, who has Nigerian blood flowing in his veins, is contractually linked to Bayern Munich until the summer of 2018 and has a market value of 45 million euros.
African Footballer of the Year, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ilkay Gündogan were also scouted by Ariedo Braida.
