New Manchester United Signing Matthew Olosunde Makes Debut Against Brighton & Hove Albion

English Premier League powerhouse Manchester United have bolstered their defensive ranks with the signing of Nigerian - American defender Matthew Olawale Olosunde from New York Red Bulls.
Olosunde completed his paperwork in time to be available for selection against Brighton & Hove Albion U18s on Friday night at The J. Davidson Stadium at Moss Lane.
The 18-year-old was named in Man Utd’s starting XI alongside midfielder Tosin Kehinde, with David Ajiboye making the lineup of the Seagulls.
Born in Trenton, New Jersey, he is comfortable playing across the back line including center back and right - back.
He was in action for the United States Under 17s against the Golden Eaglets at the 2015 Fifa U17 World Cup but had to be withdrawn in the 67th minute after sustaining an injury.
