Published: March 12, 2016
Through official channels, Brighton & Hove Albion have informed that Anglo-Nigerian striker Chike Kandi has joined Ryman Premier League side Bognor Regis Town on a youth loan until the end of the season.
Hammersmith-born Kandi arrived Brighton & Hove Albion in October 2014 after spending his formative years as a footballer with the Academy Teams of Chelsea and Birmingham City.
Though the 20-year-old has not featured for the first team of the Seagulls, he has racked up game time in the U21 Premier League and was recently in action against Aston Villa U21s.
Chike Kandi, who has been capped by the Welsh Under-19s, has been described as an attacking player with pace and aggression.
He could make the squad for Saturday’s FA Trophy semi-final first leg against Grimsby Town at Nyewood Lane.
