At the Emirates, Alex Iwobi scored Arsenal’s second goal and notched a helper in their 4-0 rout of Watford. The 19-year-old and international teammate Odion Ighalo were both handed starts but were replaced in the 74th and 46th minutes respectively.

Scotland international of Nigerian descent Ikechi Anya came off the bench for the Hornets four minutes before the end of the first half.

Still in London, West Ham United played out a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace. Emmanuel Emenike is still searching for his first Premier League goal, having fired blanks before he subbed out in the 60th minute.

Italy international Angelo Ogbonna started and played 90 minutes and was guilty of gifting the visitors an equalizer in the 75th minute. West Ham number 20 Victor Moses was an unused substitute.

Kelechi Iheanacho hopped off the bench in the 79th minute as Manchester City thrashed AFC Bournemouth 4-0 at Dean Court. It was his 21st appearance in the Premier League.

Super Eagles striker Victor Anichebe was in action for the last nine minutes of West Brom’s goalless draw with Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

In the early kickoff, John Obi Mikel went the distance as Chelsea thrashed Aston Villa 4-0 at Villa Park. The homers were without Gabby Agbonlahor who has been suspended.

It is still goalless at Anfield between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur after 25 minutes.. Dele Alli started for the Londoners, while Jordon Ibe and Josh Onomah made the bench for their respective sides.
