Almar Boss Pays Players Match Bonus Despite Gateway Loss

President of Nationwide League One side, Almar Football Club of Ijebu-Ode, Dare Aleibiosu, has rewarded his team wholesomely despite his side 3-0 loss to Gateway United FC of Abeokuta in the Ogun State Federation Cup finals.
Almar knocked out defending champions, Remo Stars Football Club in the state quarter finals. The players and officials received winning bonus immediately after the match on Saturday.
Dare, while speaking with newsmen after the game at Gateway Stadium, Ilaro expressed satisfaction with his players performance in the tournament stating that they lost the finals due to football antics.
He enthused the winning bonus he paid the players is to boost their morale for them to remain focus ahead of future hostilities.
He stated further that the young lads need to be encouraged hence they are doing well.
“I’m highly excited with my boys performances, playing in the state cup finals is not easy and base on that I quickly motivated my players by paying them winning bonus despite loosing the match.
“We lost the finals against Gateway due to football antics but the most important thing is that I am happy the boys were able to distinguish their God given talent and I believe we have a bright future in Nigeria football,” the stocky built astute football administrator said.
