Published: April 13, 2016
Alex Iwobi has admitted that his goal against Everton before the international break boosted his self-confidence and he was so overjoyed that his celebration completely came out of the blue.
The attacking midfielder has racked up eight appearances in the English top-flight this term, scoring 2 goals and notching 3 assists.
“That moment was crazy! When Hector got the ball and I saw the space, I just tried to sprint for my life,”Iwobi told Arsenal Player, according to arsenal.com.
“Thank God Hector found me, I got the ball and scored. I can’t describe the feeling, I started losing my head and the celebration…
“I don’t know where that came from, but I’m sticking with it now!”
The 19-year-old Nigeria national-teamer has started the last four competitive fixtures played by Arsenal in all competitions, including the Champions League meeting with Barcelona at the Camp Nou.
