At the Etihad Stadium, Kelechi Iheanacho ended his goal drought in style as Manchester City thrashed Stoke City 4-0. The Nigeria international, who played the full game, gave City a 3-0 lead in the 64th minute before grabbing his brace ten minutes later.

The teenager had not found the net in the top-flight since Valentine’s Day (February 14) prior to today’s contest against the Potters.

Chelsea have climbed to ninth in the league table thanks to their 4-1 rout of AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium. Super Eagles skipper Obi Mikel worked a ninety-minute shift at the heart of defense for the Londoners.

Liverpool let a two-goal lead slip in a 2-2 draw with Newcastle United at Anfield. Jordon Ibe and Sheyi Ojo were among the seven substitutes for The Reds, and  the England U19 international came off the bench in the 83rd minute.

Gabby Agbonlahor is still in Aston Villa’s bad books and was not in action for the relegated team who lost 4-2 to Southampton at Villa Park.
