Published: April 25, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that CSKA Moscow have set the ball rolling in their bid to sign Aaron Samuel on a permanent basis from Guangzhou R&F in the summer transfer market.
In the next six days, the Nigeria international will enter the final one month of his contract with the Muscovites, meaning he will have to return to his Chinese team if the agreement is not extended.
The leadership of the Army Men has invited Norwegian-based intermediary Atta Aneke for talks and it is thought that the parties will thrash out details of a new contract next week.
What is clear is that CSKA Moscow coach Leonid Slutsky is pleased with the contribution of Aaron Samuel since his arrival in the Russian capital in February.
The physical forward has started the last two games played by CSKA in the Premier League.
