Ex-Liverpool Defender Ihiekwe Offered New Tranmere Rovers Deal

Through official channels, Vanarama National League club Tranmere Rovers have informed that the Liverpool-born defender of Nigerian descent, Michael Ihiekwe, has been offered a new contract to remain at the Super White Army.
The 23-year-old joined Rovers in 2014 from Wolverhampton Wanderers and has gone on to make over 80 appearances for the club.
A product of the academy team of Liverpool, Michael Ihiekwe spent time on loan Cheltenham Town before his arrival at Tranmere Rovers.
Meanwhile, strikers Tolani Omotola and Sam Ilesanmi have been offered their first professional contracts, the club announced on Friday.
Michael Ihiekwe was selected to train with England C squad in September 2015.
