Temitope Obadeyi On Target For Kilmarnock In Loss To Dundee United
Published: May 14, 2016
In a thrilling game at Rugby Park on Saturday, Temitope Obadeyi registered his name on the score sheet as Kilmarnock suffered a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership.
The home team fell behind in the 12th minute when Mark Durnan scored, but Kallum Higginbotham equalized before Obadeyi put them 2-1 up in the 34th minute, rolling the ball into the net after sprinting into the box.
Just after the hour mark, the former Bolton Wanderers starlet would have given Kilmarnock a two goal cushion but saw his effort blocked before a brace from Simon Murray re-established the visitors lead.
Dundee United striker Edward Ofere failed to score in the league for the first time in four matches. Both Nigerians were in action for the full ninety minutes.
