German-Nigerian Defender Marvin Ajani Agrees Two-Year Deal With Hallescher German club Hallescher FC have announced the signing of Marvin Ajani, formerly of Fortuna Düsseldorf , ahead of the upcoming season.

The German-Nigerian, who arrives on a free transfer, has put pen to paper on a two-year contract which will keep him at the
Halle an der Saale-based club until the summer of 2018.

The defender played 33 games for the reserve team of
Fortuna Düsseldorf over the course of last season and scored 4 goals (3 assists).

Marvin Ajani represented the youth teams of Borussia Mönchengladbach, FC Wegberg-Beeck and Alemannia Mariadorf before signing a pro deal with Alemannia Aachen in 2012.

The 22-year-old is eligible to wear the colours of Germany and Nigeria but has no international caps to his name.
