Published: July 06, 2016
Margate have bolstered their attack ahead of the new season with the signing of Nigerian frontman Daniel Akindayini.
The 20-year-old will remain on the books of the Vanarama National League South club until the end of the 2016-2017 season, having put pen to paper on a one-year contract.
This would be Akindayini’s second spell at The Gate, having spent a portion of last season on loan at the club and was forced to return to his main employer Brighton & Hove Albion due to injury.
Born in London, the striker joined the Seagulls in the summer of 2015 following his release by Tottenham Hotspur.
He was the top scorer for Spurs U18s during the 2013-2014 season.
