Chelsea Defender Omeruo Hoping Demba Ba Returns After Horrific Injury

Super Eagles star Kenneth Omeruo has sent a message of support to ex-Chelsea striker Demba Ba following the injury he suffered while in action for Shanghai Shenhua.
The Senegal international broke his leg after he fell awkwardly during a league game against Shanghai SIPG on Sunday, and it is being speculated that he will spend a long time on the sidelines or may be forced to retire from the game at the age of 31.
“Stay strong My good friend @dembabafoot u will get through this injury, ” tweeted Kenneth Omeruo.
Former Newcastle United and West Ham star Demba Ba spent one and a half seasons at Chelsea, before joining Be�ikta� in Turkey in the summer of 2014.
The Paris-born frontman was replaced by Nigeria international Obafemi Martins in the 72nd minute after he sustained the injury.
