CSKA Moscow Rubbish Reports Linking Club With Move For Umar Aminu
Published: July 25, 2016
Russian Premier League champions CSKA Moscow have distanced themselves from reports linking them with a summer move for Nigeria international Umar Aminu.
The local press had earlier linked the Osmanlispor frontman with a shift to CSKA before the foreign press recently reported that the Army Men were preparing a bid in the region of three million euros to land the signature of the Nigeria starlet.
“We are not interested in the Nigerian striker Umar Aminu of Osmanlıspor . It’s a rumour, ” CSKA official Oleg Yarovinsky told championat.com.
Umar Aminu and Yarovinsky are on the same page as the striker had informed this website last month that he was unaware of the interest from the Muscovites.
A product of Optimum Performance FC Abuja, Aminu has played in Turkey since the summer of 2013.
