Published: August 12, 2016
Top scorer of the 2016 Dana Cup, Dizza Usman, has claimed interest from clubs in Spain and Portugal after putting himself in the shop window during the prestigious competition staged in Denmark.
Usman was in rampant form at the Dana Cup, scoring nine goals in nine matches, which helped Dynamic Sporting Solution win the tourney, and picked up another individual accolade after he was named Player of the Tournament.
“Two agents have already contacted me that they want to work with me and I agreed but I directed them to the Chairman of DSS, ” said Dizza Usman to allnigeriasoccer.com.
“The Chairman has told me that two clubs are interested in me, one from Portugal and one from Spain.”
The 18-year-old added : “I felt so excited winning the top scorer award, it was a dream come true. I wasn’t expecting that because I wasn’t feeling fine for most part of the tournament.
“But God was with me, He kept on strengthening me until the final day when we won the trophy. I am so happy. ”
Prior to his move to Dynamic Sporting Solution in 2011, the striker played for nursery team Datti Stars Academy in Kaduna.
