UEFA Youth League Wrap : Bayer Leverkusen Striker Osawe Benched; Ndukwu Starts; John, Ughelumba, Omolabi Missing  Catch up on the performances of players of Nigerian descent in the UEFA Youth League on Tuesday, September 27.

We start off at CMB Training Centre (La Turbie) where Monaco hosted Bayer Leverkusen. It finished 2-1 in favour of the French representatives. Ufumwen Osawe was an unused substitute for the German team.

Elsewhere, Leicester City have a mountain to climb to progress to the knock out rounds following their 2-0 loss at home to Porto at Loughborough University Football Stadium.

Whilst England youth-teamer Layton Ndukwu played the full game and was cautioned in the 82nd minute. Foxes teammate Calvin Ughelumba was not selected. Moses John did not make Porto’s 18-man squad.

Tottenham Hotspur narrowly lost 3-2 to CSKA Moscow in Russia. Timothy Eyoma and Keanan Bennetts started for the London team, Aramide Oteh was a non-playing sub and Moroyin Omolabi was missing from the 18-man squad.
